"We simply said yes to God's call and trusted Him for the rest."
- Pastor John & Sarah WilliamsIn 1984, Pastor John Williams received a clear calling to start a church that would be "a light in the community and a home for the hurting." With no building, no congregation, and very little money, he and his wife Sarah began holding Bible studies in their living room.
The early years were challenging but filled with miracles. The first offering totaled just $85, but it was enough to rent a small storefront. Within a year, the congregation had grown to 50 faithful members.
Pastor John's dynamic preaching and Sister Sarah's compassionate ministry to women and children became hallmarks of the church's identity. Their vision for biblical teaching, authentic worship, and practical outreach continues to guide us today.
